Anyway, I'm not really going at people who continue to smoke. I know why ya'll do that. It's said that nicotine addiction is comparable to that of heroin. I'm more talking about the people that choose to start given all the knowledge available about the pitfalls of cigarettes. Deciding to do something when every piece of information you have tells you it's a bad move is the definition of a dumbass decision.
i dont know. i guess cause most people start in their teens, and thats an age where you think you know better than everyone else, and you are unphased to future consequences of your current actions. and by the time you reach an age where the dangers of cigs actually registers with you, you've already become addicted, and you still dont quit b/c you begin to irrationally justify the habit by saying it does things like keeps you calm and keeps you from overeating
