If that black person was raised in a predominately white community, or even a community of black folks that spoke with good English skills, then they might sound "whitewashed" but in truth are just being themselves. That's all they know, that's their community, that's their life. It's no different than the white boy that grew up in "da hood" and sounds like the average hood nigga. That's his community, his like, and all he knows.

Many of them won't. Many White people actually do relate more to Black people they perceive as 'White washed'. I've heard many of them say this many times (ie. "Isn't Obama the Whitest Black guy", and you can substitute him with Black people who aren't mixed).

You this topic itself is really a good example of how pigeonholed black people are. We all know there are blacks out there that think white is right and "blackness" is something to avoid. I think we can all agree those are some fucked up individuals. However, it gets to be a bit too much when blacks are ostracized because of how they talk or dress or things they may like.

I think the how "Valley speak" is annoying as shit. I hate hearing white chicks speak that way. I hate hearing black chicks speak that way. Still, even I can admit, it's kinda fucked up to act like a black female that speaks like that isn't real just because she speaks like that.

I know this topic isn't just about manner or speech, but the same idea can be applied to anything. The fact is blacks need to stop trying so hard to put each other in little boxes and stop alienating other blacks that don't fit in those boxes.

I can't relate to people who idolize Whites or are constantly getting 'offended' on their behalf (at least when they're biased in favor of White people or White people themselves don't care). Other then that, I'm not sure what you mean by 'white washed' and I couldn't care less who is or isn't.
