Some of yall done fell for the The Conspiracy theorist okie dokes more than a few times. But notice how they don't have a thing to say when the sword of Truth is brought into the picture.
not enough of us present what the Bible speaks on this and so my aim in this thread is at least to give some of the uninformed opportunity to hear where the Bible stand regarding the Truth of the matter. So next time some theorist spit that nonsense at you, hopefully some of these scriptures stick.
What else is wrong with conspiracy theories?
They stir up strife and slander ppl and in the process cause people to speak evil of others. Peter says put away with that 1 Peter 2:1–3"Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious."
Notice here:
"Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. For “He who would love life
And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 1 Peter 3:8-12
This does not mean we don't speak out against the sin and wickedness in the world. This means you don't go around passing on rumors and further spreading lies and being unfair in our dealings of finding of fault in others! This is nothing but a distraction. The real issue is that sin exists and Satan exists. You can't expect to fight against such an enemy without the sword of Truth on your side. you going to war with the wrong weapons.
more of what's wrong with these theories:
I probably said this already but, conspiracy theories also propagate fear. and this is violation of Isaiah 8:12 - “Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled."
We told not to fear men - Luke 12:4 “And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
God promises to uphold the believers - Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand"
These theories play on fear of the unknown in some ways similar to the ways of false teachers. Notice the following: "and especially fthose who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. Depravity of False Teachers But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption," 2 Peter 2:10-12
The Bible even reveals some of the motives behind those who push these theories but i don't even wanna get that deep in the game yet.
where are the theorists at now? If you reading this and find yourself to be in err on any of these points out of ignorance, why not repent?
