Because I have no friends.
Not sure what everyone else's excuse is.

What does he do for a living?
I was hoping this would be the case but no.
Like I said, my husband is perfectly comfortable where he is at now. He doesn't have any ambition or motivation to strive for more.
He graduated 2 years ago with a bachelor's degree in IT and hasn't bothered applying to jobs to establish a career. He finally began applying to IT jobs when we started discussing separation (couple weeks ago).
I make literally 3 to 4 times his income.. And he's the one that has a bachelor's degree. That just speaks to the volume of ambition that I have. I'm always looking to better myself and give my daughter the life she deserves. My husband... Just doesn't have that drive. He is comfortable like I said. That doesn't necessarily make him a bad person. It's just not what I want.

Neither do I. I'm a cripple and dealing me dealing with people and their batch of bullshit they might come with I just can't be bothered. That's my excuse. My life is a mess right now.
(Damn you if that was troll response)

Nowhere in this post do I see a reason for why you can't do the things you want with your husband.
