Just saw this movie for the first time last year. Idk how I went so long without seeing it but it struck a nerve with me. I'm not from the hood so I can't relate in that way but everybody got those family and friend ties where you see aspects of the characters and the environment in people you know...this and city of god are two of the realest movies I've ever seen.
