If nobody can make this thread entertaining, suspenseful, informative, or interesting then y'all niggaz need to shut the fuck up about the whole "nobody pays attention to other rappers" thread.

Even tho it's a sympathy thread it's nonetheless still y'all niggaz time to shine.

Nigga, who are you? The music speaks for itself here. We don't need a bunch of rabble rousing when it comes to good hip-hop shit. You either fuck wit it or you don't.

Take your faux smart dumb ass on before I son you like the fuck nigga you are.

Rapsody x Blu: Life of Pi

Usually I find Blu to be mediocre as hell but duke went in on this one.

Rapsody was beastin all over the album though, she did her thing too.

So what's so great about it, tell me something I don't know.

How does this project stand out from all of the other Rap in its lane?

What are they talking about? Did they name names or events?

Is there any dark beats on there?

Or is this thread gonna be just a bunch of one lined compliments that still leave the listener who hasn't heard it or doesn't care to clueless and uninterested????

Maybe I just wanna be drawn in by you so-called experts.

U guys bitch and moan ALLLLLLL DAY about threads like these not poppin off and now ain't nobody got shit to say. I actually wanna listen to this album but nobody is giving me a reason to or a fuck to give about it. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Kinda makes y'all look a little fraud in the end and like Trojan Horses in threads that do pop.

Y'all so-called "real hip hop" heads don't have an ounce of hip hop in your soul. *shrug*

I keep listening to that Buckshot song...

The guitar sample is bananas, the way it's chopped up and looped...

Reminds me of "I Got U Opin" (Remix), like that is what that shit would sound like if it was made today...

Co-sign Blu has been weak since Below The Heavens dropped; he went in here and he was decent on Berrii Lipstick...

I'll pose this question to you again, since it obviously went over your head the first time... Nigga, who are YOU? As in, what makes you think YOU, of all people, are even worthy of a response? What can you contribute? What have you contributed so far besides that contrived, smug, fuck nigga attitude? Not a damn thing.

And because people don't respond to you in your allotted time frame, you try to discredit posters, most of whom have contributed greatly to the IC, with wack potshots? You do realize people have lives outside of this forum, don't you? Jobs, wives, girlfriends, kids, bills, alcohol, etc. How very narcissistic of you to think you mean anything to anybody other than yourself.

And whatchu looking for anyway? A sales pitch for the album? Fuck it. I'll stoop to your level for a moment and acquiesce to the whims of your retardation.

The album is comprised mostly of 9th Wonder production and his artists. Rappers who pride themselves on lyricism and content. The production is almost Dilla-esque and adds to the ambiance of the joint. A very cohesive project with features that include Styles P, Jadakiss, Ransom, Blu, Elzhi and a host of others.

Now, pull your head out your ass, stop being a pompous douchebag, and act with the sense your mother was supposed to have bestowed unto you when she shitted you out of her wretched womb.

Damn

Phonte dope AF, criminally slept on...

Only place that I am going to get Langston Hughes, Slang Ton, Georgio Moroder and Derek and the Dominos referenced in the same verse...

"It's nothing but that scheduled two opiates

Stimulates, yeah nigga all kinds of dope

I'm Langston meets Slang Ton

Don't need a track for that bottom feeder rap, you niggas is plankton

An AK to a paint gun

Competition? Nigga there ain't none"

Elzhi had the dopest overall verse, but those bars were the best of the song.

"Turn anthems to lullabies and lobotomize instrumentals

You traumatized so you stop, tears stalling

Is it wrong I

Make the song cry to get the top tier falling

Doughboys say I'm swagged to death

I'm bad ass to the white kids bagging meth

I spit fire you just got the dragon breath"
