And imo Jay never topped Reasonable Doubt by far his best album

I agree...me against the world is pac's best....but 7 day is still better than any jay album

is it even close??

No.....blueprint imo is jays best album....but RD isn't in the same lane as 7 day imo

Blueprint has 2 wack songs that everyone agrees on. RD is flawless. And lyrically better. Blueprint is it better?

That thread been done RD won.

Jay definitely had passion and energy on RD. That was the album he been waiting all his life to do. It was no lazy song like the start of BP (Rulers back). Or no wack skip songs like Jigger that nigga or Hola Hovita. He had creative songs like 22 two and D evils. He was keeping up with real spitts like Biggie, Jaz O and Sauce money. Blueprint was very dope. A classic, but most people who say it was better than RD say it cause that heard BP first and wasn't up on Jay from the start.

That poll is fine and all....but I disagree.....blueprint had 1 skippable song and it's girls girls girls....theres a few songs on rd that are good but not great

I got blueprint probably in my top 10 rap albums...rd maybe cracks top 30 if I was to make a list

Ppl pick rd because they think that's what they are supposed to say because it was his debut

I don't know about that. Fugees first album not talked about. Nodody calls Common or 2 pac debut a classic either. I thought Girl Girl Girls was one of the many great songs on the album. It was creative and lyrical.

It was a creative idea...i just don't like the sound or the lyrics much....one of those songs you hear a few times and don't need to listen again

I can respect your opinion.

None of them albums are close to makaveli. It was written is the closest. It's crazy how perceptions change from during that time to now. No man was bumping no Lil Kim album like that. Redman's album and jays album were regional .

How are they not close? Explain please. And regional not an answer. Everybody from some where. So your music going to reflect that area.

Black Album and Vol 1 not in the same league as RD.

Have to go with Red. Incorporated sounds from East, West & South, the production is the most varied on the list. Maybe the 1st east coast album to do that...

All the albums are tough tho...

Of these listed I would Go Pac, Nas, Red. Was not Fucking with and still am not fucking with any of the rest...

To me 7 Day Theory is Pacs greatest work...
