96 was a great year for Hip-Hop.

I love all these albums and it like 10 or more classics that was made in 96. I pick Redman because the production and lyricism was so high on this albums. Almost every song like a 10. He had creative concepts. 1996 had like 15 or more classic albums. Its June of 2017, and how many classics have we gotten?

I was going list Heltah Skeltah Nocturnal in the poll too since they had beef with Biggie. But the never dissed him on wax.

Every album on this list bang like that. Like I said, I love the Makaveli album, but I'm not going to act like it blew everything else out the water. It was tough competition. People try to rewrite history in Hip-hop. Pac was a force but he was not considered the #1 best when he was alive. He wasn't the only hot shit out. The 90s was flooded with dope artists. So stop disrespecting the culture. You have the right to like Makaveli the best, but don't act like it was a 10 star album (which it was) and the other albums are 7stars.
