I would not say he is done, I think if anything he needs to take time away from the game. Do like Eminem did after Encore.. I mean Encore sold a lot of records but by Em's standards at the time it was a flop. I mean a lot of big names have flopped lately (Snoop, Busta, Jim Jones, Cam, Triple C's, Flo Rida, Slaughterhouse, Wale, Kid Cudi) And if you argue they were not a flop 50 sold more first week, and overall so far. I think if he took a few years away, only did a few guest spots, and then came back it would be better for him. 50 needs to get better production, and do more songs with other artists outside of his camp. He may even want to consider getting Buck, and Game back and reforming the Unit.... That move right there would bring interest and attention back to him and Game. Lets face it both of them dudes have not seen the level of success they had with each other since splitting.

Who really cares about Ross being a C.O? I still went out and bought Deeper Than Rap, and BISD. If thats all you can focus on then why even listen to music. To me it is ignorant to care that much about what a dude was doing when he was 20 and ignore the music. I dont give a shit who was the biggest drug dealer, or who killed more people, or who did more jail time. Dude puts out high quality music, with lyrics, and great production.

He was saying he never got a royalty check, and yet he had been saying that since the G-Unit remix of "Hate It Or Love It"... "A seven figure nigga who aint seen a royalty check yet" And if 50 wants to build the G-Unit brand back up thats what he has to do. Yayo generates barely any attention, he has a small fan base. Banks and 50 are all the Unit truly have left.

I really don't think the leak hurt him that much. Dude had 2 movies packaged with the album, it was just to much of a gangsta album to sell in a mainstream market. Dude needed a 'Candy Shop', or 'Ayo Technology', hell even a '21 Questions' on this album. Jay sold well thanks to 'Run This Town', and 'Empire State of Mine'... He would not have done it if 'D.O.A.' was what the whole album was like.

You are right time away makes the heart grow fonder. A reunion with him and Game and Buck would be huge but first they need to check their ego's.
