Last night, Lil Wayne attended the Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Baylor Lady Bears NCAA women’s college basketball game at the Purcell Pavilion in St. Joseph County, Indiana to support his friend Skylar Diggins. The final score of the game finished 73 – 61 to Baylor.

Weezy F Baby sat courtside with T@ and Boo rocking all TRUKFIT apparel. After the game had finished, Wayne went on Twitter to tweet: “Just left the Notre Dame game and it was a good one! And the people were super kool there. Luv! Now I’m goin sk8!!!!!!! Good game Sky!”

You can view more photos and watch a a short clip of Tunechi watching the women’s basketball game after the jump below.

People expectations of him back in 05 wasn't high in the first place... Plus mainstream lyricist was getting shitty... Now that mainstream lyrics have picked up and expectations are higher for him he's "feel off" but in reality he was average in the beginning... If D4 came out in 05 it will be called a classic mixtape and if D2 came out today we would say he's falling off... Wayne just need his Stillmatic... Make a 2013 C1/C2 album and he'll be aight...

I think he's right, The Massacre qualitatively was better that GRODT not to mention, it sold more in the U.S. in the first week & sold only slightly less than GRODT. He's had way better songs than the tracks on his biggest release but yet people pay them no mind, it's a very interesting introspection on the audience.

As for Lil Wayne, objectively the quality of music he's putting out now is inferior to when he was droppin records in 2004-2009. I think the main reason tho is b/c he stuck w/ a slightly watered down formula of song-making and b/c he was everywhere the quality of his music became over-saturated. Over the years, none of Wayne's songs have been a step up from the past (musically) in strong doses. I know he's done records like "How To Love" & "No Love" but he didn't continuously release records like that. He has too much music out, so whenever we hear new records we can't help but weigh it to the Dedication/Drought mixtapes we're prolly still listening to.

Very few artists have gotten over this obstacle (Kanye West, Sade, U2, Jay come to mind).

The interesting thing is while 50's music lost popularity and had less sells lil tunafish actually gained more pop fans and some of his die hard fans still bought his music. Case in point C4 sold nearly as good as C3 despite the album not being as good and even the buzz from the album dying after the first week.

Whereas 50 (partially cause of his beefs and slight blackballing) made music and is still trying to make failed comebacks.

I fuck with both to a certain extent....but to say their music is as good as it was a few years ago is a reach....carter 4 was trash along with 50's last two albums...fuck sales just focus on making timeless music
