@ the bolded. It's not as simple as black and white. I'll admit he's talented but I'm turned off by the amount of media attention he got compared to other rappers of his era that were just as talented (Canibus, Black Thought, Big Pun, Busta, etc.). Its not that I don't like him because he's white. Its that he gets too much attention because he's white, so I don't like him.

Alot of rapper's singles/songs would sound silly singing them 10+ years later, even some by Jay Z. There's plenty of non gimmicky Eminem songs you can listen to that have had lasting power you could listen to now.
