I had to post here just to clarify, as there already seems to be some stupid comments.

Curtis filing for Chapter 11 means he doesn't have the personal assets in any form to pay ALL the money he owe's Rick Ross baby momma and the 17 million he owes the headphone company.

Thus when filing for Chapter 11, you are asking the courts to use whatever asset's you have to be restructured and then the court decides on how they should be distributed between he creditors.

Please note Curtis' own personal bank account has already been frozen due to the headphone lawsuit. This means he most probably has no hard cash any longer.

What some people will think and whatever stans he has left are wishing is that if he files for bankruptcy he wont have to pay anyone anything, this is incorrect.

If the Chapter 11 is accepted by the court, all of his assets will be distributed to the people he owe's money too, and then if there is still money owed to the creditors this is usually wiped off.

Thus he will start from $0 and not negative -$5,000,000
