Lmfao you care about a rnb artist not writing their shit . Wtf

i give them more credit for having the talent to be able to contribute more to the process than those who do less of the writing or production. shit even stevie wonder the goat R&B nigga had help with some writing. But the message and vibes of the album is dope.

Most of the new beyonce shit has 30 writers on that shit and it's excessive.

Most of the greatest soul songs weren't written by the artist. That was rare. As long as you can sing, no one cared. Been that way since the industry began.

but stevie is the goat because he mostly wrote his own shit which is why he stand higher than the others. Also during that time they didn't have 80 writers for one song like beyonce has not shit is out of control.

Facts.

Dude was one of Freeway Ricky Ross’s lawyers in his lawsuit against the rapper and a Huffingtonpost contributer on black economic issues. His gripe is basically against the neoliberalist self-reliance economic messages that ignore the structural mechanisms that prevent blacks from having wealth beyond token individuals.

Doesn’t change my opinion on the album sonically but does articulate some concerns I’ve had with some of the content.

lol I didnt wanna bring it up earlier cause it was such a jolly mood in here but cant denying what hes kickin.

So Joey Badass taking full credit for Jay making a classic album lmao.....

"I put certain pressure on these OGs in the rap game, like they know what they gotta talk about now, cause they got this young n---a Joey Bada$$ comin' out, talking about this sh-- before they got the chance to talk about it," he said. Finally, Bada$$ saluted Hov for his efforts on his 13th solo release. "I love the album, it's great. I'm glad he spoke about everything he spoke on and I'm glad I could be inspirational."

Hov didn't spit no profound shit though and didn't give step by step instructions

Hov basically said. Save your money, build your credit and buy shit that will appreciate over time I'm OJ

On legacy hes basically saying buy black and build black.

Badass been feelin himself too much lately from talking about "flaming Tupac" to now taking credit for 444 lol sit your young ass down

I fuck with his music too but theres a difference between being confident and delusional

Most tactful, respectful dodge to a question I've ever seen. Props to French Montana. That shit was Matrix level acrobatics

his comments are more out there than turf saying jay must've been listening to DAMN because 4:44 has jazzy sounding beats

some of ya'll close minded

solange's album was one of the best RnB albums to come out in the last 5 years or so. Not one skippable track on there...production was great, lyrics on point, and her voice is amazing. She has really come into her own.

One of the best albums I ever heard. And I listen to alot of different genres. It's rare where you can actually feel when a artist spent years to craft a project and she did with this. It was 5 years in the making, simply innocent, powerful, dense, light, bold, provocative, and beautiful. Everything that what society and urban culture lacks in the current times.

That's what true classics do, they defy times that they are in, or incoprate times and mutliply them by 100 to become it's identity. Solange did both with her album.
