I am mad they moved but I so happy that GA State got Turner field. That area is going to be GOAT in about 10 years. I am actually thinking about buying some property in the area. It is going to turn into a Southside Midtown.

I was looking on Realtor at these Houses and Condos in Mechanicsville and Peoplestown. Price looks good, just studying the area.

Looks like it will be a mix of PNC Park and Cincinnati Ball park. Either way, wish they would have renovated Turner Field. Props for the pics @Stew .

what are they going to do with turner field? i was in atlanta a few weeks ago and rode by the stadium, it still looks like its in good condition.

Georgia State is going to use it as a football field then build around it to make some sort of Athletic complex.

Yea theyre not moving cause of the actual field or stadium is old, the Main reason theyre are moving despite what some may tell u is cause the Braves don't make any money from Turner Field, it's owned by the city. Mayor Reed didn't wanna come off that. They will own most of what's going on in Cobb now.
