I wanted to co-sign that sentiment also, it almost baffles the mind how people join HipHop forums to discuss music industry topics that they dont discuss offline.

I find myself clicking/commenting/reacting in sales/flop related threads online despite the fact that nobody gives a fucc about that offline.

Hip-hop is a dying breed.

Sales-wise yes. I noticed around the end of '06 when hiphop was no longer the highest selling music genre.

For years hiphop albums had been dominating the charts up until the labels continuously put out garbage, which made the average consumer not even want to waste $ on most hiphop/rap albums.

I really don't care if hiphop stops selling commercially b/c it will make the commercial/wack artists find another trade to generate $ and bring hiphop back to the real emcees and artists.

I thought hiphop was slowly turning back to where you needed talent or skill years ago, but we keep seeing Waka Flockas and Chief Keef's that condradict that.
