Theres always room for more than 1..

people always pit one against the other as if there is a Hard drive limit of what you can entertain

I blame them documentaries that came out after his death. One fool said, if mlk died at 25 he would just be a pastor ,Malcolm x would be a street hustler but Tupac died a icon a revolutionary. WTF

"The tragedy of Tupac is that his untimely passing is representative of too many young black men in this country....If we had lost Oprah Winfrey at 25, we would have lost a relatively unknown, local market TV anchorwoman. If we had lost Malcolm X at 25, we would have lost a hustler named Detroit Red. And if I had left the world at 25, we would have lost a big-band trumpet player and aspiring composer--just a sliver of my eventual life potential."

-Quincy Jones

I remember in the 90s it was like "Do you like East Coast rap or West Coast rap?" Like you couldn't like both.

You know how many times I been told this shit? Too many. Alot of you Tupac fans make me Sick, for real. The fuck you gonna tell me I can't listen to both Tupac AND biggie cause they had beef. Fuck that gotta do with me? Notice it's a bunch of these dumbasses that were 2 in 96 and became a fan when ghetto gospel came out. And they only heard that cause their former favorite rapper Eminem (along with 50 cent cause those are the only 2 rappers yall know)produced it. I'm tired of you niggas. Tupac has by far the worst fucking fans in fandom. That includes Eminem fans, beiber fans and them faggot ass red sox fans

No if he was alive he wouldn't be the first black president

no hip hop didn't die with him

no he didn't make police brutality not happen

even though young money is trash, no they won't be working at McDonalds

He is not the descendant of Jesus(yes I've been told this with a straight face )

and most importantly STOP COMPARING HIM TO MALCOLM X AND MLK JR

I'm not joking at all, it's unreal how this guys fans are, for real

as a NY nigga I c/s this powerful statement

but back to the topic, honestly neither pac or big are in my top 5. I listened to their albums and enjoyed them. I'm not denying their impact and their influence. I respect all that they contributed to the culture. I just ain't grow up on their music

I just turned 21. by time I started really paying attention to hip hop back in 2000 they were already gone. as great as they are, simply put their not my favorite rappers. I understand how niggas can feel otherwise, especially if they remember when both them cats were doing their thing. if they feel their the best to do it than cool, that's a respectable and understandable stance. but I'm not gonna force myself to call them my favorites just because it's the popular thing to do

Its funny cuz niggas in the reason will act up in arms about the pac stuff but say something bad about nas in here and they'll be ready to cut your head off, ban you from the world and attack yo family like you just disrespected their Jesus Christ or something.... you can't pick and choose it's all the same crap which is ridiculous.... All big name rappers have these types of fans not just pac

I was a fan of both but heavy on Pac more because i was already a fan of his before Biggie was out, I was 13 when they both died and i do remember niggas beefing over who was better like they knew them, both have classics and i still listen to both but, Pac was my favorite and still is doesn't mean that Biggie sucked it was just my preference and i wish both were still living

8th grade year all i listened to was 7 day theory, I went through a PAC pphase anybody who mentioned biggie in the same language i was like fuck y'all loll

I think the thread applies pretty much to STANS in general of any artist. They're extremely different to a regular fan of someones work.

I do believe the Pac pic in the tub was for the ladies LOL

I also had a argument cause they tried to convince me that pacs legacy was bigger than Michael Jackson, I mean they can't be serious

lol Hell nah..but in comparison to hip hop the nigga is The Hip Hop Michael Jackson when you think about it..The record sales,He was always in the news,He was must see Tv because you'd never know what he'd say or do next,And People of all races and gender loved him..

Your'e not a real hip hop fan if you don't like both
