A code that only applies to street niggas....of course a lot of those said people still dnt live by that code, but ordinary citizens are not following the stop snitching code, but they can reap the consequences of snitching, its just the way shit is

I always believed that if it had nothin' to do with you, mind your business & stay out of it. But what if you saw somebody murdered or get robbed, and the person didn't know u were even there, how do you react? Some people have to much of a conscience to let that go, and keep it moving. But in other cases, when it comes down 2 people doing something illegal or against the law, you know what you were doing was wrong in the first place so why would you snitch on someone else to bring them down with you instead of just owning up to what you did & facing the consequences? That is a dumb statement in my idea, and it's just a demographic because it mostly pretains to the black community. Not saying I'm a snitch because thanks to God I've never been in a situation like that and don't hope to ever be, but please inform me on your thoughts on this topic.

This is very hard topic to speak of, we had this type of discussion in my final day of sociology class today, and most of them said, that if they saw someone beating the shit out of somebody or robbed. They would of mind there business and look the other way, while others would call the cops.

If you was about to be sentence 25 to life, unless you make a plea bargin of 3 years, if you give up information? Now most dudes would say fuck it, I'll give up information. While some would take the hard 25 to life.

But now, if is was family member or friend who been victim of crime or killed in a crime process, most said, they will file a police report while others in my class said they find the person themselves and kill them.

the whole thing is their reason for calling the cops IMO..

if they feel that they're honestly doing the morally right thing... then i don't feel that's snitching..

but if they're doing it for personal gain of any kind, or out of spite, or jsut so that they can draw attention off of their own shit.. then it's snitching..

i always felt sniitching is directly related to the motive behind it...

See I dnt put myself in those places to even b in that situation, plus in the case I'm sure my lawyer can create enough reasonable doubt to sway the jury, a strong alibi of where I was on said night is good enough
