Mama Pray For Me by G-Slimm anyone who had a struggle wit gettin in trouble nd had dat 1 talk to God to try to clear things up can relate another rapper who died WAY too soon

Things'll never Change by E-40 IMO dis version hit closer to home then Pac's version 40 painted a great story on here

Notorious B.I.G- Juicy

He speaks about how he grew up poor with no father in the household, how he was influenced by his environment and sold drugs to feed himself and his daughter. This is your classic rags to riches story. Great flipping of the juicy fruit beats as well.

Nas featuring AZ- Life's a Bitch

This is my all time favorite Nas song, everything about this song is perfect, the beat sets the tone as Nas and AZ spit about how much life is hard (aka it being a bitch) from realizing that money dictates someones status, to doing illegal activity to get by, that sax solo by Nas father at the end was great too.

DMX- Slippin

X in a round about way talks about his drug use, his experiences as a kid and the hatred he has for his mother. How he grew up poor, admitting that he made his mistakes (slippin) and going to the lord and asking for forgiveness for all his wrong doing. He speaks about how he hopes his kids don't go through the things he's been through and trying to be a better husband as well.

I seen two of my close friends get murdered and this song become even more relevant for me

This song makes you think so much about everything, he wrote this for MC Hammer but, I think Hammer would not have made it this passionate.
