i can agree to some extent. ive been wanting to hear roddy more and the mixtape is good, but his flow gets a little tiresome. i do appreciate all the old school production though

Solid mixtape..... the boy has presence and can carry a tape on his own. He's confident in his sound and I like that he kept features to a minimum. Beat selection is incredible and unlike most rappers that let the beat save them (i.e. Rick Ross) this kid rides the beat and goes with the flow of things. I let this whole tape run and didn't fast forward and I could still hear, listen (there's a difference LOL), and feel what he was saying. Flow gets tiring and he has no stand out lyrics but overall I think the tape is solid.

7.8/10 - steadily rode the beats, great beat selection - very soulful, he has presence and could carry the mixtape on his own. He has a lot of room to grow and it shows. Needs to step up his writing game and find more things to talk about (or flyer ways to talk about the same topics).

word, jlr artists are nice but the same topic selection is getting a lil old. the tape is good for a first one though
