Well put. However I still think there's hope for Jeezy. Trap or Die 2 was aiight, but it didn't live up to the high expectations. His last solid release was Trappin' ain't dead and that was released 1,5 year ago. He needs to find himself again and do what he does best. I heard he would drop his album in the summer but all his singles he dropped this year were lackluster and failed to garner interest so the album keeps getting pushed back. He needs a smash single like "Put On" or "Go Getta" if he wants to reclaim his spot. I think it's too early to say he fell off though. Let's wait till the abum drops...

Actually I thought Trap or Die 2 was straight. Tracks like Da Greatest, Grape, Talkin, and Im just Sayin let me know that Jeezy still got something left in him. Seem like the nigga got writer's block or sumthin.

jeezy need some new producers

or shawty gotta step it up

the beat was underwhelming

If you ask me Ross should be the last man jeezy should be dissin. Im sure Ross got some beats and hooks he could give Jeezy for the right price. Hell I'll go ahead and say it, Ross could save Jeezy's career if he wanted to.

jeezy needs to try to grow as an artist. he should take sum rap lessons from Rick Ross. i wasnt a big fan of Ross but the music he been puttin out shows his growth as a rapper n i respect that. but i will defend jeezy too. he drops sum wack songs every once in awhile n now his career is over?? but lil wayne drops sum garbage like "Ghonaera" and its called the best come back track ever? get the fuck outta here that Ghonera track is str8 garbage. one song dont make a niggas career, if jeezy can expand and show growth and make another strong album then i believe he will be right bck on top of the southern hiphop scene

i aint sayin wat he does aint workin. im a fan of jeezy. he's said some of the realest shit i ever heard from a rapper. i aint tryin to make him become Nas JR. or anything, i just thing he should expand his horizons. get some guest features that actually challenge him to make good strcutured verses. get some different producers, i think jeezy would kill a premeir beat. i agree he has to keep it real wit himself if he wants to keep rapping, i just think if he wants to be back on top he has to change sum things

right and how many times have this been proven but it happens over and over again with the same result.... I believe 50 is in the process of switching his style i dont know to what effect tho.. All Jeezy needs is a club hit tho...

True. Where would you put Ross in that equation?

Ross upgraded everything. The subject matter, the production, and even his lyrics. Ross came in the game w/ a typical, generic Southern sound. He introduced the mainstream to The Runners much like Jeezy did w/ Shawty Redd and T.I. did w/ Toomp. Then Ross smoothed out the production from the diritier Southern production to a more laid back East Coast influenced sound. He went from the street hustler to a more upscale mafiosos type style while incorporating more imagery and wordplay into his rhymes. Ross also came in the game w/ solo hit. It wasn't a blockbuster, but "Hustlin" established Ross. Then he was able to score bigger commercial successes w/ songs like "The Boss" and "Magnificent".

The difference between Ross and Jeezy and even T.I. is that Ross continues to hold down the streets from a musical standpoint even if he misses those smash Billboard Top 10 hits. I think the key to Ross's success is his ear for beats. He's always finding new up and coming producers. The Inkredibles, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, and Lex Luger weren't really poppin' like they are now until Ross had them produce his records. His ear kind of stays ahead of the wave.

Yet another underwhelming track from Jizzle. Should Mr. 17.5 just hang it up? He seems to be trying way to hard these days......

Why the hate? Track bumpin to me
