Word. I seen folks get stepped to cause they put their noses in a nigga's business. The law firm I worked at in NY, we had this little hustle for some overtime money. We'd do the work during the day (boxing up old files), then pull out the boxes after the manager left for the day. Then we'd leave at like 5:30-6:00, but sign out for like 8:00. We would get $15.00 in meal money for staying OT, so if you "worked late" 3-4 nights a week, plus the OT pay, you could get your money up a little. I would do it like 2-3 nights a week. Other niggas was doing it 4-5. Anyhow, this one broad, who was mainly salty that she couldn't eat off it cause she had to go pick up her seed, started talking about this one nigga in particular. So the manager got wind of it, and we started having to do this whole electronic sign out thing, ostensibly to stop us from faking this. But this nigga heard about it, he stepped to the chick. Not threatening her, but he just told her, "keep my name out ya mouth... that's all I'ma say... keep my name out ya mouth". She tried to get all offended, but nobody was buying it. If whateva the nigga was doing wasn't directly taking money out my check, I'm good.
