Silk The Shocker?

Talib Kweli did a song with Gucci Mane. OG's co-signed Soulja Boy and a drugged-up DMX said MGK was better than 90% of the rappers in the game.

....after all of that I realized that HipHop is now just a vehicle to get money and pussy.

You can't even wash drug money in the rap game anymore, and everybody is a rapper so in order to survive in the game and make a living you might have to sacrifice your artistic integrity.

If you call something whack you will get labeled a hater and possibly alienate a portion of a fan base that could have bought a ticket to see you perform. HipHop has been hi-jacked anyway so it is what it is especially when Too Short is on the soapbox.

This!

And it was so sad to see so many hip hop "fans" call out Ice T and call him a "hater" and say how he was "too old"(never understood the criticism with a rapper being a certain age) when he called out Soulja Boy and basically called him wack.

And we have to remember that hip hop is still a baby when compared to other genres in terms of age, so if it is so young right now and we are having situations like this, imagine what it will be like it is around 60 years

Im not afraid to say whats whack.

Because all the Beattle Juice looking rappers you like are whack

And you know all the rappers I like?

Yes, anyone who raps about killing themselves, raping bitches, puts on makeup or face paint or obsessed with necrophilia.

it all comes down to $$$. many rappers are scared to speak their mind for fear of alienating themselves from another artists fanbase. why diss another rapper when they can collabo and possibly gain a broader audience of fans.

Ice-T wasn't being called too old because of the music...

He told a 16 kid to "eat a dick"..

But still wasn't he still being criticized for talking bad about Soulja Boy's image as an artist?

This was the whole 2pac movie thing right?
