I will admit that I willl download a leak to hear if the album is any good, then if it's hot I will go and cop that shit. I don't buy too many CDs anymore because I like having all of my music on one device and I don't have to rifle through CDs to find what I want to listen to. I back up all of my music on an external hard drive just in case my laptop crashes or something. The last two albums I have bought recently is Distant Relatives and the Reflection Eternal joint Revolutions Per Minute.

depends on whose dropping, i dont understand the whole "ill dl it first and if i like it ill buy it" logic because i know if i dl an album im not gonna go spend my money on the album, for the most part i dont buy albums anymore because my money means more to me than my old collection, but when it comes to nas, az, ghost/rae/meth, game, slaughterhouse, bootcamp and anyone who i feel brings it everytime and new shit that im looking forward to like when jcole or jay electronica drop i might go buy a copy, then theres a few that i might buy like kanye, common, lupe, eminem it depends on things like the singles, production lineup, certain reviews (not from the ic with everyone hyping up recovery like its a classic when its far from it) shit like that might motivate me to go buy a copy

I used to be that guy that would say fuck downloading anything. Then the music started changing and I found myself coppin these avg ass albums that I would listen to for a week and be done with them. Nowadays I will peep the leak sometimes, especially with these new artist(thank god i peeped Drake's shit b4 coppin i would of been pissed). Recovery was the first time I ever downloaded one of my fav artist but I just skimmed thru it to make sure it wasnt wack so Ill be coppin that next week. I have over 300 cds and I plan on continuing to add to my collection. Consider Kanye, Lupe, TI, Big Boi and Em all copped for the summer. Nothing like bustin open a brand new cd to hear and see all the work put into the craft.

Nah, CDs are no value to me. I don't use cd players. I have an ipod and can just filter the music from my ipod through the car speakers if I want.

But then like I said... if you have a DL and it sounds nice... you'd be a tad lazy to go pick up the legit copy... it happens all the time

no no no maybe for other people but i respect creativity and musical talent..if its dope i WILL buy it

I don't go out of my way to buy the physical copy unless I'm fond of the artwork...

I do, but there is not really much music that I am checking for these days. It has to be someone that I have been listening to or something that catches my attention. Most of the stuff in constant rotation and 106 & Park bound, I wouldn't waste my money on.
