Nope. Same size from root to tip. They looked thicker when they were short and stubby

The first year of freeforming is a bitch, I'm STILL at the afro stage. Pretty much like J.Cole in the "GOMD" video and when you got mixed hair that shit takes even longer to lock smh.

Going on 8 months.

I do multiple different washes , I can link you to some good freeform dread youtubers.

I use african black soap once a week, you can find it at any hair store chicks go to for about a dollar or 2.

I do acv rinses once a month, which is mainly apple cider vinegar and baking soda.

And i wash my hair with aloe vera and okra once a month, cost about 2 bucks.

Then I spray my hair with lemon juice almost everyday, helps with the locking process and if the sun hits your hair on the reg it'll naturally turn that shit to brown if you're using the lemon juice.

I want a hair cut I'm tired of the maintenance seriously thinking of say f it.

That's the thing about freeform dreads, everybody's is different. You just let your hair grow naturally and it will lock on its own, but you wont know how it's gonna grow till it happens. You can make small changes like fade the sides or separate the congos (giant locs), but again, it's gonna grow how it wants.

So it can end up lookin like weeknds

or Jcole

or Marley's

or basquit, kravitz, etc . Gunplay's dreads are freeform too, but those are called wix. They get tied together in a certain way to become one or 2 giant locs , that shits big in miami.

Jcoles isn't traditional freeform where he totally neglects them he twists them.

Bob also his didn't start as freeform.

Say g if you twist or tighten your locs that's not freeforming If you break them a part I don't consider that freeforming. You're supposed to just let them grow and become whatever shape they may take. Shits self explanatory

Oh you one of them niggas with this freeform vs semi freeforming shit. To me if you let your hair naturally loc without gettin it twisted then you're freeforming or "semi-freeforming", regardless if you're separating the congos. And with that said, I dont even think Cole has done that.
