Rick Rubin said when Kanye brought it to him that the album was very incomplete

after first listen i wasn't really feeling this album as a whole, new slaves, blood on the leaves and guilt trip, send it up, and bound (kinda of) are repeatable tracks and that's really it. i understand it's only 10 tracks total but half is iight i guess, although 5.
production wise great album, originality great, it's something different which i respect ye for, but i don't sense many classics from this album. again, first listen, but most of the songs beats were awful and I NEVER SAID TO MYSELF LISTENING TO THIS "YE WENT IN ON THIS SHIT" MOMENT on any track.
bound could of been the classic track on this album, just a tweek to the beat. after "uh huh honey" i would of liked a harder drop/beat. i didn't care for the charlie wilson harmony on it either.
so yea....
i was feeling new slaves, blood on the leaves, guilt trip, send it up, and bound. new slaves and bound being the only two i would bump in the whip.
i know im in a kanye pro thread, but this album ain't a classic to me after a good first listen, kinda disappointed. i think most people who won't like this album will say it feels rushed, it just doesn't have that "banger" track in it.
2.5/5
and i also gotta say after now listening to all four june 18th albums releases, i gotta say yeezus is the worst of the 4.... just not enough nod ya head tracks. the other 3 albums has bars, beats, nod ya head tracks.
