They showed love to other religions too. If you notice at the end, the white dude with long hair put that bible Eli helped him write on the shelf right next to a QU'ran and Torah that was already written. Basically the library dude is trying to start ALL religions over again -- the right way.

On another note, props to my boys the HUGHES BROTHERS for getting better with every project. They're easily the best black filmmakers in the game right now. Just peep their resume...

- Menace II Society

- Dead Presidents

- American Pimp (documentary)

- From Hell (starring Johny Depp, Jack The Ripper movie, didn't do that great at the B.O., but it got top-notch reviews -- and is good.)

- Book Of Eli

They take forever to make movies and pick a new project (compared to cats like Tyler Perry) but it's all about Quality over quantity with them.

If Chris Nolan gets too good to do the fourth Batman flick (he already signed for the 3rd) I would love to see the Hughes Bros do a Batman movie.

the fact that he is blind is what made the movie

so many folks hate the due to the christian spin and the blind twist,
but i feel thats what makes it

the walk by faith not by sight line was too dope once you realize everything

I didn't like biblical reference, which was put straight to your throat, but this movie was stunning in terms of cinematography, atmosphere and Denzel's acting. The script could be improved, but it's solid work from Hughes bros. 3.5/5
