Seth Rollins made his first appearance as WWE World Champion on The “Today” Show this morning, with hosts Al Roker, Tamron Hall and Willie Geist. The show is taped in New York City, and Rollins noted on Twitter last night that he flew right from California to New York following WrestleMania.

The hosts started off by asking Rollins what happened last night as there appear to be many upset WWE fans. Rollins said he was Mr. Money in the Bank for 9 months, and could have cashed in at any time, but he chose to do so on the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania. Rollins added he is now in possession of the real WWE World Title as he is the new Champion.

Rollins was then asked if the WWE Title should be won “fair and square,” to which Rollins replied by saying he did win the title fair and square. He said be beat Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar in a Triple Threat match, and now he’s heading to Raw as the new Champion.

The hosts wrapped up by asking how important an entrance is in WWE. Rollins said the entrance is very important in WWE, and he then showed a graphic with the hosts faces superimposed over Hulk Hogan, The Rock and Naomi.

Then he had to travel right back to cali for raw tonight. That's crazy.

Sting reportedly requested former WCW and current WWE referee Charles Robinson to be the referee for his match with Triple H at WrestleMania 31 last night

let me just leave this post by someone else on another site here.. this is how i feel

I still can't believe it. Vince McMahon's ego is so out of control. It's fucking hilarious:

-Sting made the famous video about him not joining WWE because he feared he wouldn't be booked right.

-Sting joins WWE and Vince McMahon books Sting the exact way Sting didn't want to be booked because he's Vince McMahon and wanted to prove a point.

-On top of that, Vince has DX (WWE) establish dominance over the nWo (WCW) aka the most dominant stable of all time. And has Triple H (WWE) beat Sting (WCW).

-The commentators said "WE WON AGAIN" which pretty much means they were rooting against Sting. And you know that was a Vince McMahon fed line.

-THEN after ALL THAT. He forces Sting to shake WWE's hand after losing to admit he's inferior to WWE.

And we're suppose to think Sting has any chance against Taker at Mania?

also, let me add some context:

i dont ever watch WWE, you couldnt pay me to. i stopped watching wrestling when WCW ended, then picked back up in late 09 when i heard Hogan was coming to TNA, and ive watched TNA since then..

bruh, Hogan vs. Sting at Bound For Glory 2011 was better than Sting vs. HHH. i dont see how people watch WWE.

Lol GTFOH. Sting is almost 60, HHH had to carry the match almost almost 50, the match wasn't catch as catch can classic, nobody expected it to be. HHH winning isn't that big a deal either, if you factor in that DX is composed of younger guys and they outnumbered the nWo, no big deal.

Sting never had a beef with WWE anyway so shaking hands is a problem? Bruh stop it.

Greatest and GOATEST entrance i ever seen. Nigga brought his whole country and tank shooting missles on ANOTHER country.

Dope ass show though with a dope ending. Brock didn't look like a bitch and Roman still looked strong as hell without doing too much.

That ending >>> Roman having a 3 minute title reign
