One of the 7 PPVs with 2 matches rated 4 1/2 stars or higher by Meltzer. The latest was Extreme Rules a couple weeks ago.

Finishing up 1996. Shawn Michael vs. Mankind at In Your House: Mind Games is one of the best matches for both guys. Def Top 5 match that year. A true slobberknocker.

The Raw afterward was terrribbleeee tho. Featured Marc Mero, Faarooq, Hunter Hurst Helmsley, Barry Windham in camouflage face paint, and fake Razor Ramon & Diesel. Wrestling and storylines were doo doo. It feels weird watching Raws where the main players don't even show up (HBK, Undertaker, Goldust, Vader, Mankind, etc.)

Stone Cold was nice on commentary, though and this was the episode where Jim Ross turned heel. He was funny with the struggle half-heel commentary.

Kevin Kelly: Vince McMahon will be on Livewire this Saturday. I'm sure he's gonna have a lot of interesting things to say about you, JR.

Jim Ross: Well that would be the first time he has anything interesting to say that isn't scripted for him.

Heel JR in 1996 was hilarious. I remember he was on Superstars roasting Vince about the booking of a throwaway Crush match. All i remember is it started with Crush coming to the ring to fight some jobber and JR started with "Oh I wonder who's going to win this match..." then he went in.

watched it again Friday morning. Truthfully one pf the best PPVs of the 21st century. It was the beginning of the Daniel Bryan and Del Rio push. Orton and Christian had a dope match, and Punk vs. Cena was epic
