Punk vs Undertaker -

Jesus Punk was so disrespectful. Him and Heyman playing keep away with the urn, throwing ashes around, Heyman imitating Paul Bearer it was all so over the top. I love it.

I remember how sensitive people were getting but that's the shit I love and remember, how can you not want to see a heel act like a heel?

Its ironic that a Heyman guy broke the streak the next year too. It would have been cool to see Heyman trot out different guys to try breaking it for a few years before it ended.

Match was match of the night but thats obvious. The work was well done, Punk looked believeable despite the size differential and I would say he looked more credible here than at either of his matches against Rock.

HHH vs Brock Lesnar...damn i forgot about this match.

I don't even remember how this match went...I can't give a review until the match is over but I remember HHH winning and the match being No holds barred.

HHH as the McMahon's hero, its a story I hate so much but Its understandable this time. Not a bad story. Not bad at all...

Pretty good match between H and Brock. I didn't like subduing of the violence and the unnecessary submission spots but still good. Love that Heyman and HBK actually added to the match instead of just being ornaments.

I believe this was the last pinfall Brock gave up too, I don't think he's been pinned since. Thats a pretty dope run...

Cena vs Rock II: Talk about just going through the motions. There was no special entrances, no sizzle for the steak at all, they didn't even show a story package before the match started. It just happened like a midcard match.

The match was slow too, Brock vs H was also slow but this match was slow as hell.

It seemed the crowd was far more into the other main events, they just lacked energy for this match. They booed but not many of the spots got any real response. The crowd seemed to just be going through the motions too.

This match shouldn't have been a title match. The belt being on the line pretty much guaranteed a Cena win for starters, secondly the first match was a so much meh this one seemed like overkill.

I do like that WWE realized this was the pinnacle for Cena and started moving him out of the way afterwards. It was the only thing they could have done.

The fact anyone in the crowd thought Rock was winning back to back on Cena is hilarious. I love seeing how happy the kids were though...

All in all the 3 of the 4 main events held up, but the midcard was weak. Its definitely the weakest WM of the recent ones I've seen so far.

I'm not sure. He probably had heat from the fued with Punk which was about what 6 months prior? Their feud was in October of 2012 I think.

hhh vs hbk vs benoit is one of the greatest main events in WM history, and wwe cant even acknowledge it .

they tried to reboot it 10 years later with DB. he was booked exactly the same benoit was in his WM title match. but they cant touch the original

WM 30:

Opening promo - was never a fan of this. Its a cool visual but it lasted damn near 30 minutes.

HHH vs Bryan...

Excellent match. That young guy H is a helluva hand, I think he's a future world champion and that other guy was spectacular too.

Seriously, great finishing sequence, and post-match beating. To me this was better than the main event but the visual of DB with the belts is amazing.

They really had a match I'd watch multiple times without boredom. I wasn't excited about the match at first because I thought H was washed but he did his thing.

NAO + Kane vs Shield

What a waste of the Shield here, I don't know who else they could have faced but anything involving Kane in slacks is a waste. The match being 3 minutes is a waste too.

That said, NAO for HOF please. They deserved better too. Despite Shield being hot for 2 years they got shit WM matches both years. But at least they won...I guess...

ATG battle royal:

Rey Mysterio, ADR, Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, and Sheamus being in this match when they could have been doing better is a tragedy. What a misuse of talent.

Cesaro winning though = one of my favorite WM moments of all time...No exaggeration. Tremendous feat of strength, and a spine tingling response made it almost perfect.

Its crazy how they push guys all year for them to be lost in the shuffle for WM. SMH

Side note: They need to have a womens/Divas equivalent of the ATG battle royal, MITB, KOTR and Rumble. I know the division isn't that big but you could always add NXT ladies to the fray.

Wyatt vs Cena:

Yo the Eminem backdrop on the video package is so...excellent. Its unreal I don't remember this at all. The song fit the match perfectly.

The video package got me hype. Wyatt at his first WM getting that special entrance with the darkness and fire AND the dancer...AND a live band...woooooooo this shit is a main event. I love this shit this is what WM is all about.

Everything before the bell rings was perfect. I couldn't improve on a thing...before the bell rings.

Poor Luke Harper, he's going to miss WM this year. What shit luck the Wyatts have. First Ambrose steals Bray's WM match, then Harper tears his leg up...smh. I know they will interfere in one or two WM matches though. i see them definitely getting involved in Ambrose vs Lesnar and maybe Shane vs Undertaker as well

Okay back to the match:

Slow match, they gave these dudes alot of time...

Wyatt does alot of DiCaprio (See: Jericho's 2nd DVD for an explanation), only problem I have with Bray is he doesn't do enough when he's on offense...he still has that problem today. Its mostly holds and knock downs, he doesn't even do alot of striking.

Cena shows alot of intensity, some of it seems over the top...he does alot of DiCaprio too.

Cena being scared of the spider walk is such Hogan shit. I hate when wrestlers do the "look of fear" where they look at the crowd like "oh no I'm scared yo!" FOH. He was trying too hard with the facials. I recognize he wanted to try to get Wyatt over as creepy and scary but that went out window when he won.

They didn't do enough to get over the story of the match. Despite all the facials and creepy spots it, it just didn't seem to really click that Cena could lose this match or that he would ruin his legacy (not sure how he was going to do that but still...) The chair spot, the stair spot nobody believed he would do that shit.

"Cena stayed true to himself..." stupid shit. Cena hits folks with chairs and stairs all the damn time. It should have went like Hitman vs Piper WM 8 where Cena lost because he didn't take the low road and cheat.

Undertaker vs Lesnar - not drunk enough to watch this and i dont drink. So I'm making a store run instead.

When I got back from the store Undertaker was already concussed and Brock was trying to carry the match as best he could.

Im no fan of Brock, never really have been but he got dealt a bad hand here. Brock shouldn't be carrying matches, no doubt this match would have been good with Undertaker's energy bar being better off.

I give Taker credit too he did his best despite being out of it. I think it was oddly ironic that Undertaker scrambled his brain in a match he was going to lose. It fit the match perfectly as we couldn't tell whether he was selling or legit injured at times...thats actually the second best thing about this match.

The first is undertaker losing. Im no fan of the streak breaking but it was a moment to end all WM moments, the greatest of the all.

Considering the concussion the match was competitive and compelling but short of what it should have been.

Roddy Piper and Mr. T was a great scene. I hate that Roddy and Warrior are gone now. WM XXX had all the greats minus Randy Savage and Ric Flair under the same roof.

Never have Hogan, Piper, Warrior, Undertaker, Bret, Austin, Backlund, Bruno, HHH, Rock, Cena, Lesnar, HBK and Orton been under the same roof.

HBK didn't appear on camera, well I don't remember seeing him.

4 generations appearing at one event. That's amazing.

I love the boo birds hitting Dave but I've always been a fan of Batista. He got one of the hardest themes of all time.

Great match. HHH and Stephanie's involvement was just right, Orton and Batista's actions were well calculated...it was a great ending.

Probably the most memorable WM of all time. Bryan overcoming the Authority, the streak ends, Big Show gets body slammed outside the ring by a man half his size this was a tremendous event.

WM 31:

Ladder match was longer than I remember, it was still a fun match but I found myself not as into it as I was before.

Orton vs Rollins is a great match with a craaaaaaaaaaaazy ending. I miss these guys, this year's card would be infinitely better with either of them on it.
