Watching Starrcade 98 and remembering how much I hated Rey Mysterio during that time. Little coconut fucker stayed screwing over Eddie and the LWO to help his white boy Kidman out. Damn shame any time a faction of minorities get together to expose the racism in wrestling, they become heels i.e. LWO, Nation of Domination. CACs cant handle when they speak up.

I've been on a steady ECW Hardcore TV (circa 95-96) diet. Some thoughts:
- I can't stand that generic theme they use for the gangstas. I know its because of paperworks and stuff, but damn. At least Ravens theme lands somewhere in the neighbourhood of the real deal
- Everything with Scorpio, Eddie, Dean, Benoit and the AAA Luchadores is worth it.
- Said it before, but the original sinister version of the Dudleys had a nice edge to it
- Cactus Jacks promos = Gold
- I like Gangrel/Vampire Warrior (who still wrestles at the West Coast Wrestling Connection on youtube), but he looks downright silly in this period
- Just how over was Mikey Whipwreck?
- Sandman and Scorp is as odd a couple as Scorp and Bagwell, and somehow it works.
- Austin. For a guy that never won a single ECW match, he really put asses into seats by talking
- As over as Mikey was, as hated Stevie Richards is. Easy to see why..
- Raven. One of my favorite gimmicks of all time
- The 2/3 falls tag team title match with Pitbulls vs Raven and Richards have aged very well.
- The Raven and Dreamer feud was everything that booking should be.
- Bill Alfonso is really a pain in the rectum whenever he appears. Perfect as a chickenshit heel
- Taz became interesting once he shaved his hair off
- Great tag team division: Eliminators, Pitbulls, Gangstas, PE (who left for Atlanta in early 96)
- The RVD debut against Axl Rotten (r.i.p)
- The SHAH Hack Myers (r.i.p)
- And Pillman being completely nuts is perfect.
- Last but not least. I used to hate Shane Douglas back in the day. But watching all this gave me a new respect for the guy.

Yeah been on a ECW binge too. Raven one of the all time underrated characters. I can just imagine the storylines and feuds WWE could have did had they did him justice. Smh

Outside of that horrible Bret vs Vince match WM 26 is not bad at all. Most of the matches hold up well. The stories are holding up too.
Batista vs Cena has some real heat behind it. Ryback is doing the same thing Batista was doing then. Just on a much, much, much smaller scale.
Hollywood Dave was killing it, Cena was Cena though .
