You cats remember that ridiculous Kane/Lita obsession thing? If you don't I'll sum it up: Not too long after being unmasked Kane started being obsessed with Lita and he and Matt had a short feud over her in which Kane was the heel, he beat Matt and they implied that Lita was pregnant with Kane's baby.
Enter Snitzky and the baby killing angle (where Snitzky was blamed for the miscarriage Lita would have). All this turned Kane babyface.
After all that, a few months in the future Lita would turn on Kane and join Edge, breaking Kane's heart yada yada yada but that shit never got over.
Almost immediately after that though, they brought back Matt Hardy to do that angle with Edge.
I usually support WWE but firing Matt over that, then using his life to try to get Edge over, then ultimately having to come back and put Edge over himself was some real scumbag shit.
All parties involved have no shame.

Bruh. I remember going to the bathroom and missing edge being attacked by Matt backstage before his match. Then when I saw Matt attack edge in the right and the announcers didn't say a word, I thought it was real! Like damn, shit got real! Then when they let Matt speak on the mic, I knew it was a work. Oh well.
