I think its the same as using another producer's drumkit. I dont think anything is off limits. As long as you do something different with it instead of blatantly imitating what that producer did with it, its all good.

yeah id say as long as your hitting it hard creatively then where you get the sample is secondary.. as long as you fuck with it and add your own flavor i think your doing what a lot of ppl do with shit out of the 50-70's just with something up to date..
