Would You Be Willing to Relocate for your S/O?

It was just a hypothetical. A headhunter put his resume in for a job at Walmart headquarters in ARKANSAS, so we got to talking about it. He's not from Houston so he has no attachment to the city..it could be a reality at some point.

I would. At this point, a change of scenery would be nice.

Thats kinda how I feel..it may be nice to get away from everything and everybody I know and try something completely different.

It won't be hypothetical if he gets the job.

So, would you move with him if he gets it?

I don't know man..I could see it happening at some point but I don't think we've been together long enough for that type of decision. I wouldn't want to lose him though..

Sure, if it gets me away from the confines of St. Louis. I need a change of scenery.

That's odd that Kat mentioned the Walmart HQ's. I was just looking into it earlier today at work. I was immediately soured when I found out that Memphis, the only city nearby that has something going is 5 hours away.

At this point in my life probably not, because I'm in the middle of a long-term commitment to my career and will basically do nothing to jeopardize that, so unless we're relocating to a place that I can accommodate career-wise 100% I probably wouldn't do it. But I would later in life if the circumstances were right.

Okay now that I read through the thread I have a more refined opinion.

I'd say go unless you have a baller work/career situation where you're at now. It could work out great and if it doesn't you can go back. But be careful don't buy a house or anything permanent like that right away, shit i wouldn't even want to sign a lease until I had been there for like a few months and was established.

lol..how kind of you.

That would be very kind of me considering my circumstances. If those qualities were met, we'd be money.
