I have to factor in the cost of living to that location compared to my current location. Also depends on how long we been together. Do I get two bonuses a year alng with a month of vacation a year, no one breathing down my neck. Work at my own pace and so forth and so on. I wouldn't recommend a man relocating with a woman he's not married to. What wil the base pay be? Will it be enough to support both until the s/o find a job if they ever find one in this economy in their field?

ideally, it sounds nice. But relationships have become too damn disposable lol.

Keep it real w/ yourself, dont play urself.

Yeah that's my thought.

You get across the country and shit doesn't work out, then your people are too far away to help you out.

If your s/o got a great job offer in another city or state, would you be willing to up and move?

If she was my girlfriend...nope. But since I'm married, I can do that. My company has an office damn near everywhere, so it really wouldn't be a problem relocating.

Yeah, I would... I think new places are always good to explore. It's one of my goals just to relocate for the fun of it... experience another part of the world.

That said, I'd have to be living with them and pretty sure that I want to pursue a future with them for a long time... relocating is a big decision, don't want to leave them early on in the relocation as they'll be depending on you for support in this new world.
