I don't think you really know what a coon is.
If you did, there's no way you'd be able to associate this song with anything coonish.
Now, if you're referring to how the song would be received and not the song itself....then it wouldn't be received the same way as it was when it was released back in the day, but it wouldn't be because the song would be seen as coonish.
It would be because the mainstream doesn't embrace that kind of content anymore.
