No, Words are the expression of truth. The speaker or interpreter using said words obstructs the truth. Even without words it would be man finding a way to hide the truth.

i think they are more like approximations of truth. Used to give as descriptions, but are not exact truths themselves..The speaker may or may not be aware of the obstruction when speaking. What they are saying is interpreted or perceived by each individual differently, not exact. agree?

While the words you speak may be truth, your perception or interpretation of the words being spoken to you can cause the truth to be lost and vice versa.

Words, speach, phonetics, linguistics etc. are ALL carnal and not spiritual so yeah, always subject to corruption and falsehood.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63

In instances where words are believed to be inspired or spirit They are certainly truth to said believer, otherwise my answer is yes to the original question. due to whether or not they're percieved in truth words do always have the virtue of being an obstruction of truth.

That's why, in my opinion it's possible for The Bible to be tampered with or whatever and still get the truth through to those The Lord intends to get it to.

It's a little complex and simple at the same time.

What is truth?

PEACE

Yea that sounds a lot better than how I put it.

Example being to me when a preacher or someone recites the bible as literal and 100% truthful I find it to be a lie where they find it to be the truth.
