It is very relevant.
The fact that Bleek had the perfect set-up for hit without hardwork needs to be stated.
Any NY rapper could have a hit if heavily co-signed Jay-Z and the Roc was backing him, Just Blaze, Swizz, and Timbo behind the boards too.
Wiz could do it naturally, no-cosign and in-house producers

If Bleek was so talented his career wouldn't have dwindled
But it did...proving that he wasn't shit.
While Wiz's is rising.

Then what happend with Say Yeah

Tell Bleek to come out with a hit in this climate.
And all that does matter, if Bleek ain't have that shit...he wouldn't have hits.
He's good at sammich making.

bleek has 2 gold selling albums, when wiz can do that then you can talk.

Jay-Z co-signed.
No one on here is quoting Bleek
No one on here is making appreciation threads.
His career is all based off of riding arguably the greatest MC alive's coattails.
The reason why he got 3 gold albums is because people fuck with Jay-Z and the Eastcoast was buying that shit.
Every "fan" of Bleek is one of Jay-Z.

the point you missed is that wiz aint accomplished nothing yet, so let his career take shape before you downplay a rapper that has had some success. bleek has gold albums and hit records wiz has done nothing so fall back

Lies. Wiz had mixtape buzz befor "How Fly"...try again.

Didn't nobody fuck with that nigga before How Fly. Wasn't no appreciation threads. Wasn't no "Taylor Gang or _________" until Curren$y gave that nigga some shine

Bleek wasnt that bad of a rapper like he wasnt great but he was better than most niggas out now.... He just didnt have star power or that "It" factor. As far as Wiz i think his music serves a purpose but i couldnt listen to him all day everyday.....

Bleek's first album was good with songs like "Stay Alive in NYC" and "Regular Cat" but he couldn't build off that album...Wiz is more of a "mood" rapper meaning i gotta be in the mood to hear his music...he's not bad but he's not somebody I'd rush to go listen to...Black and Yellow is a catchy ass song though

The point you missed is that Memphis Bleek success is all owed to Jay-Z. Bleek just laid down verses. Kinda like Bow Wow and Jermaine Dupri.

Jay-Z wasn't even involved in working on Bleek's first album

and in china rice cost 5 dollars. whether jay z was involved or not bleek had hit records by himself with no jay z feature. and he had gold selling albums. wiz just got his first hit record with black and yellow thats a start, now lets see if he can at least go gold, until he does those things fall back.

Yes he was lol...

Bleek said it himself, the whole process of the album, Jay didn't even step in the studio, Bleek did it by himself

like that was 25 on the rap charts which means it was a hit. and you're coming up with reasons to discredit bleek.

2 hits...10 years ago.

Now how stupid you look seeing that the 1st two singles of his career were not because of Jay-Z
