Some black people are so sensitive and big hypocrites at the same time. I used to use the term 'brother' when greeting my fellow man e.g.,hello brother aka the 'brotherhood of man' for whatever reason I stopped using the term & decided to just say hello or just smile and saying nothing. As far as using the N word by the youth of today....I would think/hope that responsible parents would teach there children NOT to use that term irrespective of how its said. BTW the former mayor of NO got it right - we are becoming a nation of chocolate colored people... actually he said chocolate city.

I still say why get mad for other people wanting to say this word. What makes this word so special, beside the facts that historically the word was created to belittle the black race or presently the word means the same. But when a black person says it, it means buddy. So why does the meaning all of a sudden change when another race says it. Especially when they are using the n word in friendly manner describing a buddy or friend.
