Will Tim Tebow (and the rest of the Broncos) beat the N.E. Patriots?

Tebow played well

Had almost 300 yards if it wasnt for that -29 loss

Denver just got out classed

But those damn fumbles were crucial

Damn when did completing 50% or your passes, over and under throwing receivers all day and having a costly fumble become playing well???

Da fuck I miss???

Denver was dominating the game, but those back to back fumbles sucked the momentum out of that team. Tebow did good probably his best in the pocket passing game as a QB yet. had 2 Tds nearly 300 yards passing. Showed good patience in the pocket. Even some of his critics mentioned that and the announcers....if he gets that together he will be unstoppable. And I give it to belicheck for a team like the patriots who have no talent whatsoever he created a system to get the best out of them because the names edelmen, woodhead, and green and their medicore WR core should scare no one...lol Besides Brady and Gronk everyone else on the offense is a role player. And the defense was getting shredded

What game did you niggaz watch?????

didn't he have 2 tds tho?

and if you are gonna be fair, you have to mention all the costly drops that his receivers had as well.

tebow made mistakes no doubt, but just as the denver wins aren't all on him, neither are the losses

Yea he had two rushing TD's.( FB playing QB). That second TD came when the game was well outta hand, just like 100 of his 190 yards passing. You have to watch these games not see highlights on ESPN and check the box score. I watched that shit.

There weren't many dropped passes from what I remember. So where were these costly drops? But I remember seeing him throw about 3 passes in the dirt at the feet of his receivers and over throw a few. As for one of his rushing TD's one came on the first drive in which it was a 9 play drive. 3 RB's accounted for 80 yards or so on 7 carries and Tebow ran it in from the five. If you wanna be fair give credit to the RB's who did all the work getting him to the five.

i watched it too, and yeah the whole offense helped get down the field, but that takes nothing away from what was a phenomenal touchdown run. and yeah tebow made mistakes and made some terrible throws. but he also made some things happen as well. its just that this team, really any John Fox coached team (you saw it as a falcons fan) really isn't built to make a huge comeback. Fox likes to run the ball, control the clock, play solid defense, keep the game close. Any run oriented team with a suspect defense is going to struggle to comeback from being down a few scores.

Any team with Tebow at quarterback is going to struggle to come back from a big deficit. Those Carolina teams could throw the ball, and throw it well when they needed too. Delhomme was never all that but he could throw better than Tebow.

but jake had a much higher int% and a much lower td% compared to tebow. and he had the benefit of playing with steve smith, muhsin muhammed, rickey proehl

thats a far cry from Eric Decker, Eddie Royal, and Demaryius Thomas who i know is a damn good receiver.

but anyway, the point is that if you have a bad defense, and no passing game, and are build to run the ball and keep the game close, then its gonna be pretty rare that you come back from 14+ points down against any team, much less tom brady's team

Real QBs are always going to have more Ints than Tebow because they throw the ball more. This ridiculous argument that Tebow doesnt throw INTs is just bullshit. My grandma doesnt get into any car accidents.....cuz we barely let her old ass drive.

Perfect example is Cam, dude is LIGHT years ahead of Tebow as an NFL QB and he has had no first year, no training camps, no OTAs, no specially crafted offence just for him. Just here's the ball, its Sunday afternoon....throw the ball 30 times a game.....oh and the guy on the opposite side of the field....is Drew Breeze.

What game did you niggaz watch?????

The nigga is improving every week and plus he is a RUNNING qb first

Same way vick was running around in atl and completing 50% of his passes

But niggas was on his nuts heavy smh lol

Fucking mcnabb early in his career was same way

Dude had 300 yards of total offense and a couple of tds

He had a costly fumble but overall it was a pretty good performance

Tebow actually made good throws....lol he looked more comfortable in the pocket even the announcers agreed and compared him and Bradys throwing motion which was almost identical. The Denver defense got exposed, they started 2 rookie safties and all hell broke loose. They use Gronk as a decoy and Hernandez was having a field day. No brian Dawkins on the field....no leadership. Denver was dominating the first have. Tebow had 200 yards passing 2 TDs no INT and one fumble. He made some good reads and throws from the pocket....he just has to find middle balance. And Cam has better weapons around him then Tebow does. No matter what he AFC is looking really weak right no that is including Baltimore and the Steelers.....all teams can be upset in the playoffs. And if you look at the past 3 games Tebow has slighty better stats then Cam....

i didn't say that he threw more or less, i just poster interception percentage. and yes i'm aware that the more times you throw, the worse your % may be.

He has looked somewhat better. But dont get me wrong, I give Tebow credit when he makes plays. Especially late in games when the team needs one. But I dont see him being successful long term. I think the Broncos will be his only chance to play QB. Hell if the Broncos draft a QB this year(Some people think they will) he will be in trouble.

And Atlanta Vick was a way better passer than Tebow is up to this point. When he became the starter and played a full season he usually completed about 55% of his passes. Tebow has to be right at or below 50% and he only throws it about 20 times a game, easy throws too. Vick first year as a starter he went like 8-9 games without throwing an INT(threw it more than Tebow does) and almost passed for 3000 yards despite missing like 2-3 games. Even when Vick played bad you could see that he would eventually be a good passer. His arm and accuracy is better than Tebows and he has/had one of the quickest releases Ive ever seen. I watch Tebow and I dont know if you can say the same. I hate when people compare these two. The comparisons stop at them both being running QB's.

He makes a fantastic point....every body is babying this nigga. "He's getting better" So is every other QB...He avg 50% completion percentage on like 20 attempts (if that) a game...meanwhile Cam the QB with the most rushing TDs in the league so save that "he a running QB first" bullshit throws the ball 30+ times a game. Tebow actually went 2 for 8 in an NFL football game as a starting QB. 2 completions for 8 attempts.....in a full 4 quarters of NFL caliber football..... in his 2nd year in the league. By any measurable standards he is an avg to below avg Qb. He made a great play to get out of the tackle Nicko put on him....and after that...what did he really do?

And then you have delusional ass niggas saying that he looks like Brady in the pocket, that Denver "dominated" that game.....Tebow will not be a starting QB by the end of next season...bet that.

Tebow has had better stats the last 3 games compared to Cam Newton.....it is very slight, but I think both have a bright future in the NFL I like Cam he does have better weapons though....

Comparing Tebow and Newton in their last three games
Passing:

1)Tebow: 42 out of 77 for 632 yards
2) Newton 44 out of 83 for 629 yards

Rushing:
1) Tebow: 28 carries for 155 yards
2) Newton: 28 carries for 145 yards

Elway cosigning Tebow...
