He enjoys picking garbage roles , he deserves the current box office funk he is in right now.

It better , dude always plays it safe with his movie roles thats why he will never be the goat.

He need to play a genuine villain.

Deadshot is a genuine villain

Not according to hollywood, they are anti heroes.

Suicide squad are bonified villians bruh

5 minutes ago Hollywood didn't know what the suicide squad was

Will Smirh is play the "hollywood" antihero version.

The Joker, Viola Davis and enchantress are the villians in the story.

They are hired (criminal) mercenaries

He killed a senator and attempted to blow up a kindergarten class... Idgaf about what Hollywood tells you deadshot is a villian.... The suicide sqaud are villains

Last time i checked we were discussing Will Smith's choice of roles not comicbook authenticity.

Were discussing his role in a comic book adaption.... Its relevant when you claim he doesn't play antagonist

He is not playing an antagonist wtf , the script states they are antiheroes and there is/are clear badguys they are gonna be after.

What is so hard to understand?

The Suicide Squad is a group of batman and superman villains brought together by the government-owned government for dirty deeds.

The Joker was the villian in The Dark Knight but everyone loved him. Regardless, he was a villian

I'll be surprised if Will's version of Deadshot is exactly like the comics. They already playing up the daughter angle. He's gonna cry about her, guarantee it.

That said, I'm looking forward to seeing the movie and him being in it. I think he'll kill it. He'll just be an anti-hero though, not a ruthless, no fucks given killer.

Only reason I say he's going to be an anti-hero is because of what I think he'll portray in this movie. I think y'all blurring the lines between Deadshot in the comics and Will Smith as Deadshot in this movie. Now if he comes out shooting up cops and kids then yes he'll portray the villainous side. But if all that is just hinted at and he does heroic type things in the movie, he's an anti-hero. I'm thinking the latter will prevail.

He also turned down Neo in The Matrix. Will Smith is still good money in my eyes and Jamie knocked out his role in Django. No beef at all with the outcome.
