The problems with SS weren't with Smith. Neither is a good movie IMO, but Independence Day 2 was far worse.

Suicide Squad was MEGA TRASH, but it wasn't Will's fault....or any of the actors, for that matter. Just horribly written.

Will probably knew a bigger buck was coming from SS than ID2, so he chose that one.

I think i saw the trailer in the cinema, looked like the biggest film (in terms of potential hideousness) Will has made so far to cater to a white audience.

i honestly dont think even will smith coming back wouldve saved ID2.

SS wasnt perfect but I had a much better time watching it than most flicks this year.
