If Nas was more successful, they'd hate on him too...just look at Jay, T.I., Wayne, Ross & any other brother that's getting it. I'm not saying I don't like his new shit. I'm a fan of Nas. I just don't have a desire to put it on repeat. Don't get it twisted, I know the brother spits gems. The hate kingdom come gets is due to the fact that people don't have the ability to form their opinions. It's almost as if an album isn't "classic" it's viewed as garbage which KC was not. Anyway Jay doesn't have to drop a classic he needs to drop a great album doing what he does best added with some great production. I think with how good life is good us said to be it will make him step up his game. Like he said you're only as good as your competition. I haven't listened to LIG yet but I will and definitely won't use Jay to measure how good the album is. Nas and Jay are my top two favorite rappers, y'all niggas act like you can't appreciate both.

Jay has 2 classic album Blueprint and Black Album.... Reasonable doubt is dated and overrated and American Gangsta is not classic... Nas has Illmatic/It Was Written and Stillmatic.... the rest of the albums between the 2 are good-average.
