During a State of Emergency or Martial Law the U.S. Military or Army National Guard can enter your home by force and disarm you.

They gave them an order to "shoot to kill", and they went door to door killing people if necessary to disarm and relocate them.

So you do or you dont believe that his background will hurt him as a rapper?

Will the fans overlook Freddie Gibbs background and enjoy his music or will the majority of listeners ignore his talents due to his past?

His background can't be more taboo in Hip-Hop than being previously employed as a correction officer, i mean Weezy 'got away' with kissing a man on more than one occasion lol

And as far as i'm concerned he is authentic to me, being that he doesn't attempt to shy away from or hide his past under the rug, and he usually laces any beats he rhymes over with a message like National Anthem...i see nothing wrong with going to a college on a scholarship, no matter the university. And i see nothing wrong with enlisting in the armed forces, it just means he is armed with more benefits than the average citizen.

Plus being from Gary, Indiana shouldn't be an excuse for not rocking with his music, these past few years we saw the emergence of other small town heroes such as J. Cole and Big K.R.I.T. who showed that small cities can breed the same level of talent of cities like New York City and Chicago

So in your world you believe that working inside a jail is equal to joining the U.S. military??

If a rapper that used to be a part of the Army who's father was a police-officer is at a concert screaming "Fuck the Police" that dosent seem strange to you??

There are some people they wont listen to Gibbs anymore because his anti-establishment stance is weakened considering his stint in the Armed Forces.

I personally find it funny that a nigga who had a cop as a dad could say fuck the police, and yes that does take away from his "buck the system" persona.

Didn't this nigga throw jabs @ Rozay for the CO shit ?,glass house ass niggas

I cant lie to you, I'm not prepared.

After seeing how the military treated my people and its own citizens during Hurricane Katrina I have no faith in them, if you can just run up in a mans house and kill him if he dosent hand over his guns and ammunition is some bullshit.

But it's (Gary, IN), basically, part of Chicago. It has also, many times, had the highest murder rate in the nation (not a good thing, but seductive in "Hip Hop," unfortunately).

I wouldn't call it part of Chicago but more a neighbor.Alot of niggas from the chi move there tho.

Gary aint no joke either thats why i would call it a "small town".Makes it sound like some friendly crime free area

Niggas over there are reckless and the city has like no good areas

A C.O. is no were near the level of a police-officer or military personnell.

Policemen & Military have jurisdiction over us as civilians in society, they can arrest us, detain us, and kill us if we dont comply, a Corrections Officer only has jurisdiction within their facility with criminals, once they leavce the building they are civilians like us.

No, in my world enlisting is the armed forces is way more respectable than being a correctional officer...that's why i said his background can't be more taboo than being a C.O.

I don't know about the relationship he has with his father, so i would turn the other cheek. And as far as the army stint is concerned, i don't why he chose to to enlist, i know people that could care less about the establishment and are only concerned with gaining benefits that comes when enlisting in the armed forces. In fact, that was almost me...
