Does not make sense to me either and I could be out of line, but I don't know anyone that co-signs Wayne to the extinct that he is selling these records. I don't know anyone that has a Wayne album past C2 but he all of a sudden started selling damn near a million 1st week every time out. I agree that sounds like a dumb thought process. I guess white kids love him because I don't mess with them like that.

I'd be very surprised if Drake doesn't sell shitloads with Take Care... Marvin's Room was a throwaway yet that shit has been all over the place. His main singles have had decent success and with the rumours his album is gonna have a good mix... his usual mainstream fanbase plus Kendrick Lamar and Q-Tip contributions to maybe add to that. Of course we gotta wait for a confirmed tracklist but that's still something to consider

No one in hip hop has ever came close to competing with Em when it comes to sales. To even compare is ridiculous.

And no shit Em sold that many copies, he had two major songs, including one of the biggest songs in recent years(Love the Way You Lie), while Drake completely wasted all his buzz on singles that were relased a year before his actual full length album debut.

Its funny this nigga stalled his album through 2009 and when he finally did drop it the Eminem wave engulfed his buzz after a week. If this is the kind of promotion Drake's going to do leading up to his album I just cant see him ever going past platinum.
