you will most likely see the true transition by mid 2015 when devs have more time with the systems. Remember the jump from PS1 to PS2 wasn't that great in the first year either. Then we saw the best games in the later years

Next gen for me is the use in memory like bigger open world games better ai basically more content the disc/game itself holds at it's launch without it suffering

One already came out (Mario Kart 8) and has the gaming world buzzing worldwide right now. All that while being on "weaker" hardware.

More will be announced at E3 I'm sure. We're days away. I'm sure MS has to have more than Sunset Overdrive and Sony and Nintendo won't slack either. None of them could really afford to right now.
