Getting shot is played out NOW just like beef in large part because of 50 Cent maxing it out.

Cleff could spin this if he's about his business, but he's never been a gangster rapper. Also Cleff is at a different point in his career. His biggest album came out 15 years ago. He's already peaked. Now if he makes an album called 'I Got Shot in Haiti' full of angry songs about the situation he might see a spike in his album sales. If he gets killed in Haiti all of his albums are going to sell more and we'll be continuing this conversation in a Cleff Appreciation thread.

In fact, he would have had to have been a big deal before all the charges to even get media attention.

I didn't say anything about what thug life was in my post. I just stated that the mentality increased no matter it actually meant or what people perceived it to mean. Thug Life is something that's become pretty much synonomous w/ 2 Pac.
