Alot of people you know of went to a hbcu and you dont even know it.I know of plenty of women/guys with dergrees from Prarie View A&M,Southern University,Florida A&M who have good careers.

But things like lower acceptance standards, there's too many HBCU's that have lower admission standards, and having folks take 6-7 years to graduate is sad. I think it was some time last year when Ebony magazine puts out their issue on HBCU's and just being shocked at the avg time it took to graduate was so damn long or how the avg. gpa to get admitted was usually in the low 2.0-2.5 range. That's a big reason why they're falling off, they lowered their own standards of admission to the point where it's laughable in some cases. Add in the never leaving stigma of the shitty financial aid process and it makes people not wan to deal with all the extra shit
