It's not the "time limit" but the events and experiences you go through that establish how well you get to know someone. Why do you think after 1 year, ppl end relationships because their partner "started acting brand new."

Here is the "logic" I've heard around these parts. A woman carries a child in her womb for 9 months therefore she should be far more responsible than any man when it comes to sex as she does not have the same choice as a male who can simply walk away without ever looking back or having to care for that child.
