One who bases her choices and decisions on their own feelings and outlook on things is true to themselves, I respect that.
On the other hand, T/S has described a person who should have a set book of rules when it comes to certain things which is more often than not based on the opinion of OTHERS, that deserves absolutely no respect.

1.Most females don't use this rule anymore but if they did, it's like a "guaranteed" time so that you can bring it up when it's time. If she still don't put out, dump that bitch. (The average time is usually 2 weeks to 2 months thought I know IC dudes get it the first week . . . . . . .)

2.Females can say, "Whenever I'm ready". What if she not ready in 5 months,8 months, a year or she'll never be ready for you at all. Well the 3 month time eliminates that bullshit.

3.For the guys willing to wait it out, why not have other chicks on the side?

4.For both male and females who are serious about a relationship. A lot can go down within 3 months. If the person you like doesn't want a relationship by that time, either you can still talk to them if you feel like it can still work or you probably think you're wasting your time because it's a vibe but the person is not ready yet so why not go to another male/female who can give you the same plus more?

The three month rule is simple to work with. If she wants to wait three months, then let her. Just be sure to let her know and tell her:

"All the shit boyfriends do for their girlfriends does not exist here during those three months. Meaning: Dates to a nice restaurant; gifts for no reason; calling to check in when it's really late; Any female's number or text found in my phone is completely off limits to questioning, etc. Those are all privilages given to a girlfriend, not just some girl who I hang out with but can't sleep with. We know you're not a virgin, so you making me wait for 12 weeks just further let me know you're not ready to put in the physical part of the relationship to keep the man with you. Which by the way is just as important as the mental and emotional shit you trying to get out of me during these next 3 months. So please do not expect anything more then a friendship during that time.
