Why nobody talking about the Drew League ? It's live up there

I wen't last weekend, my boy is apart of the blackwall street fam so he basically had to drag me up there..But once I got there he introduced me to Game, derozen and a few other people. It was a dope experience.

And most importantly it was a great game( No pun intended) Demar, Derrick williams, Terrence Williams, Ed Davis,The Game And Mike Efevberha (BTW He was Killin the other team, I never heard of this dude in my life). Were all on the same team..Ed Davis Tied it up With an AND-1 and made freethrow with a Few seconds left on the clock. But the other team Nailed a 3 as time expired to upset The Game's Team.

I thought it was gonna be a red-waving red-nation ass crowd, Which it was LOL but everybody was cool and into the game..Matt Barnes came to watch the game along with Baron Davis, and alot of other people I failed to remember.

The players played like they wanted to win, it was intense and wasn't just a bullshit game like I thought it was gonna be, My boy said Rose Might be playing in too weeks as well

If you stay in southern Cali and wanna see some of your favorite NBA players, without paying for those nosebleed seats..Come to Washington Park. There's Nothing but Floor seats lol.

Ed Davis is from those ways?

And no. Ed davis is from DC, he's just not good enough for terror squad, or ruff ryders, or prop joes team. So that's why he had to play at drew league.

I heard about this.
Every game the Game assembles a team of NBA players to play against regular dudes who had been playin together for years.
Or something like that.

The drew league has beem on for years. You got everyone from some of your favorite nba stars to local cats who were beasts in h.s and college, but didnt make the league but play overseas. Matter of fact, some of those cats use the drew league to get exposure because scouts are always up there. The shit craccs, you got bitches up there and everything.

Considering that there is a NBA Lockout brings a big question mark over the 2011 season...So Being able to see some nba players face to face without paying a dime should be enough for people to talk about on this board. Thats just my opinion

aren't teams from the drew league supposed to be coming to D.C to play the goodman teams?

kenner league is alright...mostly wack ass G'town players

Terrell Stoglin went down there a couple weekends ago and terrorized them niggas, G'town still running from setting up a series with Maryland

i'm rollin with john goodman's league

With no Summer League, a handful of NBA players have taken to regional pro-ams. The two biggest, out of DC and Los Angeles, have scheduled an all-star game of sorts, and today the rosters were announced. As reported by Pro Basketball Talk,

For the Goodman League: Kevin Durant (Thunder), John Wall (Wizards), Ty Lawson (Nuggets), Gary Neal (Spurs), Tyreke Evans (Kings), Michael Beasley (Timberwolves), DeMarcus Cousins (Kings), Josh Selby (Grizzlies), Sam Young (Grizzlies), Donte Green(Kings), Hugh "Baby Shaq" Jones (AND1 Tour), Emanuel "Duce" Jones and Warren "D-Nice" Jefferson.

For the Drew League: James Harden (Thunder), DeMar DeRozan (Raptors), Nick Young (Wizards), Dorrell Wright (Warriors), Brandon Jennings (Bucks), JaVale McGee (Wizards), Craig Smith (Clippers), Pooh Jeter (Kings), Bobby Brown (Aris BC), Marcus Williams (Grizzlies) and three more players yet to be named.

The game will be broadcast online next month, and you may need to purchase the DVD to keep you warm through the chilly winter months.
